What is A&R Productions?
A&R Productions began in 2003 as a means to
provide content-specific professional development for World Language teachers
in Wicomico County, Maryland. A
secondary goal was to create a community of scholars who could collaborate on
proficiency-based curriculum which would engage students and would help them
access a new language and culture.
Courses based on the Annenburg video tapes led to presentations and workshops at state, regional and national conferences and eventually, individualized professional development experiences for districts and language-specific organizations.
You may choose from offerings listed on the WORKSHOP page or request a particular theme or emphasis, in a three or six hour time frame.
Prices are available on request.
MISSION:
● To provide quality standards-based professional development for World Language teachers at any level
● To enable teachers to reflect upon and improve their instruction
● To provide opportunities for collaboration and networking
● To provide resources to support sound instructional strategies
